Throughout the early life of Nike’s brand new Air Max 270 silhouette, the Swoosh Brand has primarily stuck to the script, adding bold colors to the lifestyle-engineered sneaker. Now, the Swoosh is switching things up a bit with a brand new detail on its outsole that features a geometric pattern that utilizes a gradient color scheme. Its chief alteration comes by way of a lenticular material being added to its 270 heel bubble, replacing the customary semi-translucent unit. Much like the PhotoBlue/White offering from earlier this year, its mesh upper is adorned entirely in white while the aforementioned heel calls upon a bright blue hue. Enjoy an official set of images below and head over to Nike.com to pick up a pair today.
The lesser praised Air Max 270 Flyknit silhouette continues its roll-out with new colorways on what appears to be on a monthly basis. On this particular women’s exclusive option, Nike pairs a crisp white with the ever attractive hits of bright crimson to its upper as well as the over-sized Air Max unit on the heel. Female Nike Sportswear fans looking to add another sneaker to their rotation will be able to do so when these arrive at retail on May 15th for $150 USD. Not to be confused with Nike’s recent Air Max 98 “Habanero Red” model is this new take on the throwback runner, which, too, sports the aforementioned spicy red tone. This new rendition spotlights varying shades of red that surrounds a clean white midsole with an upper construction that is dressed in a mixed-material makeover.
“Team Red” joins the signature Habanero hue all throughout the core base, while faint hits of light grey can be found intersecting the all-red palette in the wavy divider line. Leather found blanketing the mudguard helps add a luxurious element to the suede and mesh accents placed directly above. Price and release date still has yet to be confirmed, so be sure to check back for future updates.

The 20th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 98 this year is bringing a variety of new and OG styles back to life, and the runner’s new take is introduced in this sail/cream theme, but with a luxurious twist. A snakeskin mudguard overlay highlights the design, along with a sepia stone accent seen throughout the upper. White mesh and nubuck add on to the build, followed by a matching Air Max sole to complete its design altogether.
Back in the middle of March, we introduced you to four new versions of the Nike Air Max 98 silhouette, including the Sepia Stone-colored “Snakeskin” variety that you see here. Ushering in a simplistic color scheme, its namesake comes from the scaly make-up that you see on its mudguard. Snakeskin has dressed up this particular silhouette in Nike’s arsenal in the past, as it highlighted 2016′s four-piece Supreme collection in another “Sail” color scheme. This time around, the reptile print is much more subtle than the aforementioned Supreme partnership, but it still adds a touch of luxury to the increasingly popular Air Max model.
With Air Max Day just around the corner, the jewel of this year’s celebration is undeniably Sean Wotherspoon‘s Nike Air Max 1/97. Winner of 2017′s Vote Forward event, the collaborative shoe has become highly sought-after in the sneaker world following a limited quantity release last November.
